The Frozen Stuff

For individual frozen pies and small shepherd’s pies:

Pre-heat your oven to 350°F, then bake from frozen, for 45 minutes.

For large frozen pies and large shepherd’s pies:

Pre-heat your oven to 350°F, then bake from frozen, for 60-70 minutes.

Optional for any pastry-topped pie:

Whisk one egg with a Tbsp of cold water, and brush on top of the frozen pie before cooking. This will give the pastry a golden-brown top when finished!

The Fresh Baked Stuff

For any of our cooked goods that you may have picked up at the store, including pies, sausage rolls, scotch eggs, etc.:

Pre-heat your oven to 350°F, then bake for 15 minutes. That’s it!

Tips:

All ovens are a bit different, so you may need to adjust the cooking times by a few minutes. It doesn’t hurt to check them 5 minutes before the timer goes, and it’s okay if they need to stay in a bit longer. Carefully lift the pie out of the tin with a fork, so you can see the bottom. You’ll be able to tell if it’s done or needs a few more minutes!
Always aim to cook pastries on the middle shelf.
